  • Review of the client's investment goals and risk appetite

  • Construction of a portfolio which delivers that eg. classic 60/40 equities/bonds, or variations including structured products/alternatives, depending on risk appetite

  • Set up an Investment Management Agreement: The assets remain in the investors custody account but a Power of Attorney is taken to operate it

  • Discuss the client's particular circumstances regarding location of the custody account/tax considerations
